This took months to complete because it was done in stages and I'm counting that I started sketching some panels last January (EEP). It's quite obvious that I didn't even bother much and just wanted to finish, isn't it ;_;

Despite the length of time accomplishing this took and the horrible coloring, this was a really fun meme! I got to exercise my story-making skills as well TEE HEE.

The story I'd made up in my mind is I'm some orphaned forest bandit who meets a runaway prince who doesn't want to be king and I teach him about loving his people by singing. And I also become queen because duh.

1 - I wanted to make it a cross between Mulan and a generic Glen Keane character (and failed) so that's as Disney-fied as I can get. I'm not sure why there's a field when I'm a thief in the woods? And yes, that dog does exist irl, and she has such a short attention span and she loves catching flies (which causes me much distress).

I plan to get about three almost kisses in my movie because I am a masochist like that. [Got too lazy to make a proper background so I googled one YAY!]
6 - I'm holding traditional fighting sticks used for our national martial art Arnis. The sticks are really supposed to be small swords, but you know Disney and women wielding sharp objects (A FRYING PAN, REALLY???).
7 - I tried to reflect our local indigenous costumes but I'm also part Chinese and silk patterns are so pretty so it's a merging of both cultures, I guess?
8 - A modernized version of the baro't saya and have I mentioned I SUCK at choosing color?
